Traditional Feast – 20th anniversary of the Italian Federation

During the course of this workshop we celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the foundation of the Italian Federation of Vietvodao. Apart from Grand Master Phan Hoang, many important Masters from different countries participated, among them Masters Ben Ali from Morocco, Do Long and Hung from France, Tung from Germany and Van Viet, Bao Lan and Nguyen Chinh from Italy.
Each Master was entrusted with a part of the workshop in which each one faced and presented some particular and personal studies to the participants:
- Master Ben Ali, attack and counterattack fist techniques, frontal kick defence and the four attacks with fingers with energy applications;
- Master Hung, four seated breathing movements, meditation and thrusting techniques with application of energy;
- Master Do Long, close combat kick techniques with front and back neck holds;
- Master Tung, attack and defence by advancing and retreating and the three fast kicks;
- Master Van Viet, combat sequences with symmetries and applications;
- Grand Master Phan Hoang taught the Dai-Lao and Phi-Dieu forms.
A very appreciated feature of this event was the setting up of an exhibition of documents and posters related to the twenty years of the Italian federation and a collection of traditional Vietnamese weapons.
